What to do & See

A Territory to Discover
The Residence is located in a strategic position, a short distance from Ostuni. In just a few kilometers it is possible to reach the most suggestive destinations of the Adriatic and Salento: the Zoo Safari of Fasano, Alberobello, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Lecce and many other enchanting places.

The White City

The city is located 8 km from the Adriatic coast and is dotted with rows of centuries-old olive trees that make the landscape truly breathtaking. Renowned tourist destination, Ostuni boasts a wonderful medieval village, full of narrow streets and whitewashed houses in a maze that resembles an Arab casbah. A walk in the old city, known as the "land" to distinguish it from the more recent "marina", offers picturesque views of alleys, steep stairways, courtyards and small squares overlooked by white houses embellished with geraniums, craft shops, typical restaurants and small shops.

Marine Natural Area

The Torre Guaceto State Nature Reserve is a protected natural area located on the Adriatic coast of the upper Salento, a few kilometers from the centers of Carovigno and San Vito dei Normanni and 17 km north of Brindisi. The landscape is typical of the Mediterranean maquis, a riot of colors from the green of the centuries-old olive trees, to the yellow of the beaches and dunes, to the crystalline blue of the sea which breaks on the dark cliffs. The marine reserve is in turn divided into three areas: zone A, B and C. Zone A is a totally protected area, and this means that navigation is completely prohibited in this zone, while zones B and C guarantee bathing and navigation at pre-established times. For tourists, the consortium that manages the reserve organizes daily trekking, bike trekking, sailing courses, scuba diving and sea watching courses.

The Borgo dei Trulli

Alberobello in Puglia is a unique city in the world. Here it is possible to see an entire neighborhood, totally authentic, made with trulli. The trulli are a very particular construction that can only be found here, and are made of stone and with cone-shaped roofs, and for this reason they have allowed Alberobello to enter the UNESCO heritage list. In particular, there are two areas where it is possible to admire most of these buildings Rione Monti and Aia Piccola. Do not miss a visit to the Trullo Sovrano which has been converted into a museum and to Casa Pezzolla.

Queen of Mediterranean Baroque

Lecce is a city in Puglia known for its Baroque-style buildings. In the central Piazza del Duomo, there is the Cathedral of Lecce with a double facade and a bell tower. The Basilica of Santa Croce is characterized by sculptures and a rose window. Nearby are the Column of Sant'Oronzo, from the Roman era, which on the top houses the bronze statue of the patron saint of the city, and the Roman amphitheater, below street level

Queen of Mediterranean Baroque

Considered one of the most beautiful villages not only in Puglia but throughout our peninsula, Polignano a Mare is a truly suggestive town that attracts many visitors every summer to its beautiful beaches. Its landscape made of stone houses overlooking the turquoise sea waters create a truly suggestive environment.

Monopoli is a corner of Puglia that hardly leaves you indifferent: a seaside village that combines the authentic atmosphere of fishing villages with the beauty of ancient historic buildings. Its port is probably the most characteristic and symbolic place, with one of the most evocative historic buildings that watches over the boats when they return at sunset.
